"Derealisation"

During the project studio, I tried to apply the concept of estrangement and dissociation within the garments with construction and technique. During the process I did research into "trompe l'oeil", and how to apply it into fashion. Hereby I developped different kind of knits to give a new prospect about the human body. 

Looking into the essence of garments, I tried to manipulate it into a new form which is multifunctional, but not necesarely practical. Such as the essence of the work of Balenciaga.

Using new technologies such as CLO3D and laserprint, I was able to uplift the collection and reach an higher level of quality.
